Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how SprintVision (the “App”) handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what data is used and where it is processed. Your sprint videos are analysed on your device; the App sends the limited information described below to the cloud services that make accounts, saved-analysis storage, AI reports, training plans and subscriptions work.

Account Information

To use SprintVision you create an account. Depending on how you sign in, we process:

You can sign in with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple. Accounts and authentication are managed through our backend provider, Supabase. If you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email, in which case Apple provides a private relay address.

Your Videos and Analysis

On-device processing

Sprint videos you upload from your device are analysed entirely on your device. Pose tracking, kinograms and metric measurements are computed locally. The original video you select is never uploaded to our servers.

Storage of your analyses

To let you keep your history across devices and after reinstalling the App, the results of an analysis — the generated overlay and skeleton clips, the thumbnail, the kinogram images and the measured metrics — are stored in private cloud storage tied to your account, in addition to a local copy on your device. This content is accessible to you — and, where it is created within a coach’s team, to that coach (see “Coaches and Teams” below) — and is deleted when you delete the analysis or your account. The original source video is not included. Each account has a storage limit, shown in the App’s settings.

Coaches and Teams

SprintVision offers coach plans that let a coach manage a team of athletes. When a team is used:

AI Coaching Reports and Training Plans

When you request an AI coaching report or an AI training plan, the App sends only the numeric results of your analysis — such as run phase, speed, stride length, ground contact and joint angles, and (if you provide it) your height, event and personal bests — to a secure cloud function we operate. That function uses Google’s Gemini AI to generate the written feedback or plan, which is returned to your device.

Google processes this data as a service provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

Anonymized Performance Metrics

To benchmark performance and improve SprintVision’s coaching, we collect anonymized sprint metrics (such as stride length, ground contact, joint angles and speed), together with non-identifying context like event, age group and category. This data does not include your name, email, videos or images, and is not used to identify you.

We may use this anonymized data to produce aggregated, non-identifying insights (for example, typical metric ranges for an event or age group). Aggregated insights never identify any individual.

Subscriptions

Individual and coach subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and the app store you purchase from (the Apple App Store or Google Play). This may involve processing purchase data, subscription status and anonymous identifiers, and payments are handled by the app store — we do not receive or store your payment card details. Enterprise and custom team plans may instead be billed directly through Stripe; in that case Stripe processes the billing details you provide to it, and we receive only the information needed to activate and manage your plan (such as your billing contact and subscription status).

Notifications

With your permission, the App schedules local reminder notifications (for example, trial reminders) on your device. These are generated on-device, and you can disable them at any time in your device settings.

Diagnostics and Device Information

If the App encounters an unexpected software error, it automatically sends a limited diagnostic report to our backend so we can identify and fix the problem. A report may include the error message, technical stack trace, app version, device operating system, and your account identifier and email address. Reports do not include your sprint videos, images, saved analyses, passwords, or payment information.

Diagnostic reports are processed through Supabase and emailed to our support address through our email delivery provider. Duplicate reports are limited, and reports are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve software issues.

Onboarding Survey

When you first set up the App, we ask a few short questions — for example whether you are an athlete or a coach, your event, the part of your race you most want to improve, what has held your progress back, how you currently review your sprints, and your current personal best. We also record how far you get through setup and whether you start a subscription, so we can understand where the experience can be improved. Your answers are stored with your account and are used only to understand who uses SprintVision and to improve the App. They are not used to generate your coaching reports, are not sold or shared for advertising, and are deleted when you delete your account.

How Your Data Is Used

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell data that identifies you.

Permissions

The App may request the following permissions, only to provide core functionality:

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the App:

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent data that identifies you. Information is only shared with the service providers above so the App can function, with your coach where you join their team (see “Coaches and Teams”), or where required by law. We may share aggregated, non-identifying insights derived from anonymized metrics, which never identify any individual.

Data Retention and Deletion

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription — manage that in your app store settings.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data in transit and at rest, including your account’s private cloud storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the security of on-device copies also depends on your device’s own protections.

Children and Age Requirements

This App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Creating your own athlete account (a login) requires you to be at least 16; your age is self-declared at sign-up. A coach may manage an under-16 athlete as a profile on the coach’s own account, without a separate login for the minor. Where a coach uploads video or manages data about a minor, the coach is responsible for obtaining any consent required from the minor’s parent or guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on the app store listing.
