Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how SprintVision (the “App”) handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what data is used and where it is processed. Your sprint videos are analysed on your device; the App only sends the limited information described below to the cloud services that make accounts, AI reports and subscriptions work.
Account Information
To use SprintVision you create an account. Depending on how you sign in, we process:
- Your email address
- Your name, if provided by Google or Apple
- An account identifier used to sign you in
You can sign in with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple. Accounts and authentication are managed through our backend provider, Supabase. If you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email, in which case Apple provides a private relay address.
Your Videos and Analysis
On-device processing
Sprint videos you upload from your device are analysed entirely on your device. Pose tracking, kinograms and metric measurements are computed locally.
Local storage
Your videos and saved analyses are stored locally on your device, within the App’s private storage. We do not upload your videos or images to our servers.
AI Coaching Reports
When you request an AI coaching report, the App sends only the numeric results of your analysis — such as run phase, speed, stride length, ground contact and joint angles, and (if you provide it) your height — to a secure cloud function we operate. That function uses Google’s Gemini AI to generate the written feedback, which is returned to your device.
- Your video is never uploaded — only the derived metrics are sent
- Reports are generated on demand and shown in the App
- A monthly limit on AI reports is enforced by our server
Google processes this data as a service provider under its own terms and privacy policy.
Subscriptions
Paid features are managed through RevenueCat and the app store you purchase from (the Apple App Store or Google Play). This may involve processing purchase data, subscription status and anonymous identifiers. Payments are handled by the app store — we do not receive or store your payment card details.
Notifications
With your permission, the App schedules local reminder notifications (for example, trial reminders) on your device. These are generated on-device, and you can disable them at any time in your device settings.
Device Information
Limited device information (such as device type or operating system) may be used locally to ensure the App functions correctly.
How Your Data Is Used
- To create and secure your account and sign you in
- To analyse your sprints and display results on your device
- To generate the AI coaching reports you request
- To manage subscriptions and entitlements
- To send reminders you have opted in to
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data.
Permissions
The App may request the following permissions, only to provide core functionality:
- Photos / Storage – to select the videos you upload and save your results
- Notifications – to send reminders you opt in to
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the App:
- Supabase — account authentication and backend infrastructure
- Google — Google Sign-In and the Gemini AI used to generate reports
- Apple — Sign in with Apple
- RevenueCat and the app stores — subscription management and payments
These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. Information is only shared with the service providers above so the App can function, or where required by law.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Videos and saved analyses remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App
- Your account and associated server-side data are retained until you delete your account
- You can permanently delete your account and its data from within the App (Settings → Delete Account)
- Exported files saved to your gallery must be deleted manually
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription — manage that in your app store settings.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. Because your videos and analyses are stored locally, their security also depends on your device’s own protections.
Children’s Privacy
This App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on the app store listing.
